Mapping and Augmenting Human Creativity Using Games
DC WORKSHOPS & LIVE STUDIO
Join us at Diplomatic Courier’s live studio to watch a special talk show featuring experts in the future of work and education and the nexus of Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and Citizen Science.
Mapping and Augmenting Human Creativity Using Games With the advent of AI, one of the most important things we can do to prepare for the best possible future is to become more deeply aware of what it means to be human. ScienceAtHome aims to unlock the subtle patterns of human creativity by using games in many shapes and forms. In an effort to ‘democratize’ the understanding of human behavior as well as foster innovation, they created several games, including Skill Lab: Science Detective, a suite of mini-games exploring basic and higher cognitive skills. Consider what we might be able to do if we could examine cognitive profiles from the whole world? Could you create a social media digital assistant that detects when you are being manipulated? Could we help overworked teachers deliver on the promise of personalized education? Could businesses be more systematically successful if they were less dependent on the intuitions of exceptional, natural born leaders? This special workshop on gamification of learning will take place at the Diplomatic Courier Studio and will feature a hands-on presentation by Jacob Sherson & Janet Rafner, Directors, Science at Home; Aarhus University.
